Oh man...Today was SPEEDLIGHT. I really enjoyed myself out there at the Sembawang area. Oh my god, the games were great the team was great which is very cohesive. Thanks to this event, it really brought me closer to my cell member. +). To my surpirise, we wre playing Rojak ball and Frisbee, not soccer but i doubt rachel can play soccer also la ..haha.. bleah =P. Laadeedum
Well the first game we play was Rojak Ball and it was against a team called I WIN from Woodlands Lighthouse. I WIN sounds like want wind in hokkien (need luck to win). HAhaha...but in the end we fight to a draw which is considered a good result. Rojak ball is basically just like captain ball with an addtional blue colour bonus point ball. Even with a draw and a win for rojak ball, we did not make it to the final because esther's team won both of her matches =). Much of the accolades should be given to Esther and she should be rewarded the MVP for the day. HAHA. Well, there is no biaseness in this statement as i watched the entire match that she played. She worked her lung out for the team man.*11 claps for her*. Even in the final, she showed superior sportsmanship when she keep on playing without giving up even though they have conceded a lot of points. Really, this is what the game is all about ; SPORTSMANSHIP =) .
Next up, we are in the frisbee competition. The last time i played frisbee was like 2003? Haha. my age is confidential so better not disclosed my grade that year. I supposed in the team only Joel know how to play frisbee. haha... and we were like trying out in horro as we keep on dropping. LOL... BUT......success is failure's mother, we managed to scrap through a win in the first game : 3 - 2 (haha i scored two goals), and the second game we won XX-1 (haha yeah i scored two goals). LOL..there is sense of achievement.haha = . In the final, guessed who we played against; RJC frisbee SCHOOL TEAM!!! The chance of us winning is only like 0.00001%. But yet again, boys and girls showed great team spirit and determination to play the game. Haaha. Although we were trailing 8-0, we manage to score 3 goals in the dying minutes with the help of lennett and joel and raymong (haha i assist one goal).....Sabrina was very nervous before the match. haha she keep excusing herself from the game ..hahaha...funny gal. Whereas for RACHEL, expEcted her to be sitting on her chair
(slacking) rather than running in the field . haha.. But in the end she still play and not bad =-) Sharlene also played a parT even though shes wearing sandals..haha....Xueli also possess the team spirit and keep on playing without giving up. Nonetheless, Jian Wei is also one of the determined guys out on the field.haha...
At the end of the day, although we won nothing, we managed to get a goodie bag which consists of 2 BOX OF CORNFLAKES and some vouchers and a file.haha.=p.. But i know alot of my cell group member better such as Jianwei, weicong, Kenneth and Jeremy. Thanks Bros.....LOL....Now to formally introduce my team members::::::::::::::::::::
